The Nikon Action EX (Extreme) binocular series consists of six porro prism binoculars, the largest of which is the Action EX 16x50 binoculars. The Nikon Action series binoculars feature a large-diameter objective lens that enhances light output. The rubber-coated binoculars are easy to handle, even with gloves on.

Binoculars with 16x magnification are intended for long-distance observation, such as spotting airplanes or wildlife, or even as stargazing binoculars.

The magnification of the Nikon Action EX 16x50 binoculars is so high that it is not possible to view them handheld without good support. With the included TRA-2 adapter, you can connect the binoculars to a monopod or tripod, for example, to give you the necessary support.
