Nanlite's 16-inch Halo ring light, which produces soft and almost shadow-free light, is suitable for many uses, such as vlogging, portrait photography, selfie photography, and videography.

The advantages of a ring light include that you can shoot through the light, which means that the light hitting the subject is even.   In addition to producing even and almost shadow-free light, the ring light creates round eye reflections in the subject's eyes, making the subject appear more lifelike.

The brightness of the Nanlite 16 is infinitely adjustable as needed. The adjustable color temperature allows you to test how your makeup looks in the sun or artificial light.
