Fujifilm Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 WR lens

An updated version of Fuji's 27mm pancake lens. Now the lens is weather-sealed and includes an aperture ring. Despite these improvements, the overall size is still only 23mm thick!

Thanks to the control ring, Fuji bodies now have the same logic for adjusting settings as the X100V camera, shutter speeds or compensation from the body and aperture adjustment from the lens. In addition, the aperture settings have a lock mode and you can let the camera choose the aperture.

The focal length is equivalent to 41mm in cine format, which means it is slightly wider than a normal lens but not as distorting as a wide angle. This is suitable for almost any situation and combined with the F2.8 aperture and size, this may well be the lens that is always on the camera.

The mechanical quality is as good as Fuji's, the aperture ring and lens construction are made of metal. Focus can also be adjusted directly from the lens, due to the size this ring is small but the feel is still good.

The autofocus is not silent, but it is quick and the features of new Fuji bodies such as EyeAF work.

In a nutshell: F2.8 aperture, weather protection and sharp image quality, versatile focal length. And now you can't use the excuse of not having enough space in your camera bag.
