The Cometron Firstscope is a beginner's telescope that makes it easy to reach planets, comets and constellations. Get to the craters and mountains of the moon.
A device clearly designed for beginners and children, for example the included eyepieces do not attempt too high a magnification, so objects are easier to find and the image is easier to view.
The high-quality table stand is ready to use, so you can move it to a table in your backyard or easily transport it to your viewing location by car, meaning you don't need to point it at the North Star or tune it. You can start viewing right away!
What you can see with the Celestron Cometron: For example, Jupiter's four largest moons and also Saturn's rings. And let's not forget the moon! The moon is a familiar object in the sky, but with a telescope you can get much more out of it and watch the details for long periods of time.
For deep sky objects or finer details, we recommend Celestron's larger models, such as the Starsense and Astromaster series.

Newtonian is one of the types of reflecting telescopes. As the name suggests, the telescope type name is named after its inventor Isaac Newton. Structurally, a Newtonian telescope is simple: the telescope has two mirrors, a second light-collecting primary mirror at the rear of the tube, and a plane mirror at the front of the tube, which transfers the formed image to the eyepiece used for viewing. The advantage of Newtonian telescopes is the absence of chromatic aberration, as all light waves are always reflected from the mirror in the same way. The factor that most affects the image quality of Newtonian telescopes is the eyepiece.
Dobsonian is one of the methods of mounting Newtonian telescopes. The simple and inexpensive mount is named after the American monk John Dobson. Dobsonian telescopes are primarily intended for viewing deep sky objects.
