Canon EF 50mm 1.2L USM lens
| We offer a THREE (3) YEAR WARRANTY for Canon lenses (normally 12 months). The warranty certificate, purchase receipt/certificate must be kept for the entire warranty period. The extended warranty does not require registration. |
The lens has a maximum aperture of F1.2, making it suitable for shooting in low light without a flash. The high aperture also allows for precise depth of field control.
The ring-shaped ultrasonic motor uses ultrasonic vibrations to achieve fast and near-silent autofocus. A high-speed CPU and optimized AF algorithms accelerate autofocus. High holding force ensures that the focusing lens group stops precisely when the correct focus is achieved. Electronic manual focus is always available without having to switch out of autofocus mode.
The lens transmits distance information to the E-TTL II flash system of a compatible EOS camera for optimal flash exposure metering in all shooting situations.
