Sony XLR-H1 Handle Unit - XLR handle
A dual XLR camera grip for Sony FX3 and FX30 camcorders. In addition to two full-size XLR-14" connectors (with 48V Phantom power), there is also one microphone 3.5mm connector.
The audio is converted to digital format in the handle's own AD converter, and the audio data is transferred in digital format via Sony's Multi Interface shoe connector directly to the video file.
This means that no additional wires are needed between the devices and the most common sources of interference and noise are completely bypassed.
