The Sony AX43 includes a very effective image stabilizer, the entire lens element group moves and the video footage is very smooth when shooting handheld! So if you always have your camera with you, and you shoot handheld, these Sony BOSS stabilized cameras are perfect for you. You don't even need to use a gimbal with this camera, the gimbal mechanism is inside the camera!

Another use case where these traditional camcorders excel is for long shots, streaming, and event recording. The Sony AX43A doesn't limit the length of recordings like most pocket camcorders and SLRs. The camera doesn't overheat and comes with a power supply for continuous use .

So put the camera on a tripod and you'll get detailed 4K video as long as there's enough space on the memory card.

The Sony AX43A is also great for streaming, the HDMI connection provides a so-called Clean HDMI signal, i.e. only a clean image. You can use a capture device ( e.g. Atomos Connect ) to stream this image via a computer for video conferencing or events.
