Similar 16mm and 30mm lenses have been very popular with APS-C sensor size cameras for both photography and videography. The cine equivalent focal length is approximately 34.5mm, so this new addition is very versatile.

The aperture is very good at 1.4, but the size is still very handy and the weight is about 345g, so this is also suitable for use with a gimbal stabilizer.

The lens's Super Multi Layer (SML) coating reduces internal reflections and high-quality lens elements produce sharp images. The fast and quiet focus motor is also suitable for video shooting.
