Shimoda Core Unit Small DSLR camera unit

The Shimoda Small Core Unit is a smaller version of Shimoda's camera compartments. Like the F-Stop ICUs and Kånken Photo Inserts, Core Units keep camera gear organized and protected in your backpack. Made of shock-absorbing and protective EVA material, the Core Units are designed to be used with Shimoda backpacks, but work just as well as a camera compartment in any backpack or bag. With the help of the adhesive dividers, the compartment can be customized to your needs.

The Core Unit inner part comes with a separate outer shell, which is intended to protect camera equipment when you store the camera section outside the backpack.

This small Core Unit equipment section can accommodate, for example, the following:

• System camera body + 1-2 lenses
• System camera + 70-200mm f/2.8 lens

• Best compatibility: Shimoda Explore 30, Shimoda Explore 40, Shimoda Explore 60, Shimoda Action X50
• Good compatibility: Shimoda Action X30 and Action X70
  
  

The Core Unit is a separate camera gear compartment where you store and protect your camera, lenses and other accessories. The Core Unit storage case keeps your camera gear organized in your backpack. When you want to use the camera backpack as a traditional backpack, you simply lift the camera compartment out of the backpack and the Core Unit works great as a standalone storage solution (the Core Unit comes with a protective bag).
