Portkeys BM5IV WR - 5.5" camera monitor

Portkeys BM5IV WR - 5.5" camera monitor

The Portkeys BM5IV WR is a high-end 5.5-inch on-camera monitor designed for professional filmmakers, cameramen and focus pullers. With an all-aluminum body and tempered front glass, this device is a reliable tool in even the most demanding shooting conditions. It weighs only 362 grams without battery, so it doesn't add too much extra weight to your camera rig. The display is easy to read even in direct sunlight thanks to the incredible 2,000 nits of maximum brightness. The device is equipped with versatile HDMI/SDI connections with cross conversion and comprehensive wireless and wired camera control.

Powered by the latest CINENORM OS, the BM5IV WR allows you to create up to 7 custom pages where you can store your favorite tools for easy swipe access. The monitor can control over 80 different camera models (including RED Komodo/V-Raptor [RED Approved], ARRI Alexa Mini, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Nikon and Blackmagic Design) wirelessly or wired. The touchscreen allows you to adjust aperture, ISO, white balance and shutter speed on the fly, as well as touch focus with the Focus Tracking screen.

• Excellent visibility even in daylight: The 5.5-inch 10-bit (8+2 FRC) Full HD panel (1920 x 1080) with a stunning 2,000 nits maximum brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures a clear image in direct sunlight. The display covers 100% Rec.709 and 85% DCI-P3 color spaces, and you can create your own 3D calibration file with an X-Rite color sensor if necessary.
• SDI/HDMI interfaces with cross conversion: Equipped with 4K60P HDMI input and output and 3G-SDI (1080P60) input and output. Supports signal cross-conversion in both directions, and the SDI output can be driven with 3D LUT and Peaking focus assist.
• Split-screen monitoring: Dual video inputs allow you to monitor two different signals simultaneously in a variety of viewing modes (such as PIP, PBP, and H2V cropping modes).
• Advanced exposure and imaging tools: Includes full-size precision waveform, vectorscope, histogram, zebra, ARRI False Color, and more. Also included is Portkeys' own Log Stops exposure tool, which breaks down the LOG signal into step levels based on actual camera data (auto-detection on Sony cameras).
• Flexible power connections for film equipment: In addition to the built-in Sony NP-F battery plate, the monitor features a locking 4-pin aviation connector and a new industry-standard 2-pin LEMO power input (7.4V–24V). The 4-pin aviation connector can also be used to output power (7.4V) for wireless tracking focus motors, for example.
• One-to-Many multi-camera control: Acts as a "master" monitor, allowing you to control multiple cameras and their focus completely wirelessly from up to 50 meters away via up to four other compatible Portkeys monitors (e.g. LS7P, LH7P, LH5PII, BM7IIDS).
