This OM System macro is actually a unique tool for close-up photography. No other manufacturer has a lens capable of 2x magnification with autofocus! In addition, Olympus teleconverters are suitable for this, meaning the magnification can be up to four times! The cine equivalent focal length is 180mm, meaning that despite the tremendous magnification, the working distance from the subject is still reasonable.

Weather protection is not just a promise, Olympus promises that the weather protection meets the IP53 standard . The same protection also works against dust and frost. The front lens of the lens is coated with fluorine, which makes cleaning easier.

The lens's image stabilization also works with compatible in-body stabilizers and the combined effect with SyncIS activated is up to 7 f-stops. In addition, the lens has a built-in accelerometer and the stabilizer corrects movement particularly well even when shooting handheld.
