Nanlite FS-150B Bi-Color LED Light

The Nanlite FS-150B LED light offers excellent value for money. It has a little more power, so it is suitable as a main light in a small space or as additional light. The color temperature of the light is adjustable between 2700-6500K, so you can adapt this to mixed light and the power is infinitely adjustable between 0-100%.

There are two different settings for CCT color temperature, Maximum output mode keeps the light output as high as possible and Constant Output mode keeps the light output the same even when the color temperature is changed. The maximum brightness of Bi-Colour lights varies at different temperatures and thus there is no need to adjust or change the exposure, the easiest way is to change the color temperature until the image looks exactly as desired.

Unlike current Nanlite models, the light quality is impeccable and the CRI value is 96. The power supply is built into the light source, which makes handling easy.

The Nanlite FS-150B uses a Bowens mount , meaning that a wide range of light modifiers, such as softboxes from a variety of manufacturers, are available. The mounting arm also has a place for an umbrella.

The light has active ventilation to ensure reliability even during long shooting sessions, but the fan is quite quiet, meaning it does not interfere with sound recording in basic use and can be turned off completely at less than 15% power.

You can use the Nanlink mobile app to control Nanlite lights, meaning you can remotely control the light series directly from your phone. A remote control is also available as an accessory.

The light is programmed with 12 different effects such as fire, storm, TV and paparazzi for more creative video shooting.

How does the Nanlite FS series differ from the FC and Forza series? The FS series lights are only mains powered, making them suitable for studio use. The FC and Forza lights can be used as battery powered and include additional features and carrying cases. In terms of price point, the FS series lights are budget-friendly choices.
