The Manfrotto 393 is a gimbal that makes it easier to shoot with heavier equipment.

The swing head makes the camera easier to use and increases the camera's mobility. It is very useful with heavy telephoto lenses, as it allows the center of gravity of a camera with a heavy lens to be placed below the joint.

The long 357PLV quick-release plate (included) allows you to mount the camera-lens combination precisely at the center of gravity.

The swing has three heights that are adjusted using locking screws. The highest height gives the lens the most room to move up and down. The lowest height provides the most stable weight distribution.
