Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D (Nikon Z) lens

An ultra-wide-angle (110 degrees) lens for Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras. Although the lens has a wide angle of view, it is not a fisheye and the amount of distortion is minimal. This makes the Laowa 15mm great for star and landscape photography as well as architectural photography.

The Zero-D in the lens' name refers to the almost non-existent optical distortion that is common with wide-angle lenses. This means that lines remain almost straight even at the edges of the image with this lens.

The lens has five diaphragm blades and by dimming it you get a pretty nice Sunstar effect when shooting against light. The lens also has a 72mm filter thread, which is actually a rare treat at such a wide focal length.

The lens aperture ring has clear clicks that make it easy to select the desired aperture. This means you don't necessarily have to look at which aperture is selected, but can focus on composing the image while adjusting the exposure with the feel of a button. The clicks can also be turned off, so there are no extra sounds when shooting video and switching between apertures is smooth.
