Laowa's new manual focus lens combines a wide angle of view and bright light. An ultra-wide angle (130.4°) full-frame rectilinear lens, meaning that the images do not have fisheye-style distortion and the lines remain straight. In addition to nature and landscape photography, it is also great for architectural photography.

The lens structure is designed to maintain excellent colors, contrast, and sharpness across the entire image area. Inside the lens are three ED elements, which correct errors in images.

The Zero-D in the lens' name refers to the almost non-existent optical distortion that is common with wide-angle lenses. This means that lines remain almost straight even at the edges of the image with this lens.

The lens weighs only 420g, making it easy to take with you on your travels. The short 12cm focusing distance allows for wide-angle macro shots, and the 77mm filter thread allows for the use of a variety of filters.
