The Kenko Skymemo Equatorial Polar Wedge is the best companion for stargazing with a tracking motor. This is more stable than a ball head and much faster to adjust:

• A spirit level helps to get the entire camera system straight
• There is a scale on the vertical adjustment, so finding the North Star is almost straight forward.
• With micro adjustments, you can get the tracking motor in just the right position and improve tracking accuracy.

This is probably the most useful accessory to use with the Star-Tracker, it makes adjustments quickly even in the dark and much faster than aiming with a ball head. Tripod mounting is possible with a standard screw directly to camera tripods and the tracking motor attaches to a Vixen dovetail-type quick release plate.
