The transmitters' microphones are omnidirectional, meaning you can use them to record background noise or conversations between several people, such as interviews. They are attached either with a clip or magnet directly to the performers.

Lark Max 2 supports timecode, which makes it easier to synchronize audio and video during the editing phase. Thanks to the wide dynamic range of 32-bit recording, audio levels can be adjusted afterwards without losing quality, even if the audio level is initially too loud or too low.

The transmitters have 8GB of internal memory to record up to 14 hours of audio. AI-powered noise reduction reduces unwanted background noise and interference from the audio. Two windscreens are also included to reduce wind noise and rustling from clothing.
