Hähnel Captur Module PRO is an expansion part for the Hähnel Captur set, and this really only works in conjunction with the Captur basic set. The Module PRO set includes a remote control with an LCD display and an IR module. Both operate on AA batteries.

The Captur Module Pro has a wide range of built-in sensors that allow you to trigger the camera using motion, sound, light or AUX control. It also comes with an Infrared Module that triggers the camera when the infrared beam is interrupted. The device has a Time Lapse feature. In addition to all this, you can connect various third-party trigger-enabling accessories to the Module PRO's AUX connector, such as pressure sensors or humidity sensors.

Captur Module Pro can be used for many different purposes

• TimeLapse photography: Program the Module Pro with how many photos you want to take (maximum 999 photos per series), how many series you want to take (maximum 999 series), and the time interval at which the camera takes the photo. The delay can be set from 1 second to 99 hours and 59 minutes.
• Long exposure: You can use the Module Pro as a remote shutter release, preventing camera shake.

Module Pro's sensors can be utilized:

• Light: Detects sudden changes in lighting. Can trigger the camera or flash when the light intensity goes below or above a set level. Great for shooting lightning and fireworks.
• Sound: The camera or flash will be triggered when the Module Pro detects sound. Can be set to detect glass breaking or a balloon popping.
• Laser: Module Pro detects when someone breaks the laser beam. A suitable feature for recording water droplets, macro and nature photography.
• Infrared: The IR sensor detects when the infrared beam is interrupted. A feature for nature and sports photography, and even when a drop hits a surface.
• AUX: The AUX connection allows you to use third-party accessories such as pressure plates, humidity and temperature sensors.
