The difference between this and the GH4383LR ball head is the quick release locking mechanism. This version has a locking screw.

This sturdy aluminum ball head can carry up to 30kg. The quick release function increases comfort with heavier equipment. The design and construction have paid special attention to stability and precision of movement and locking. This is reflected in the WS2 coating of the ball and the design of the tensioners.

The Arca-Swiss compatible GS5370D quick release plate is included. Other Gitzo D-profile quick release plates and most Arca-Swiss type quick release plates from other brands are also compatible with the ball head.

Designed specifically for Gitzo Mountaineer Series 3 and 4 tripods, but also compatible with other Gitzo tripods from Series 3 onwards.
