New 68dB headroom preamps unlock the full potential of your microphones. The fourth-generation Scarlett sound card uses the same 120dB dynamic converters as Focusrite's flagship RedNet model, for studio-grade quality.

• Air Mode brings your vocals and instruments to the surface of the sound, adding the sound of a large studio mixer
• Auto Gain function allows you to adjust recording levels automatically
• Clip Safe automatically adjusts audio levels before the sound becomes distorted
• With the Loopback function you can also record computer sounds

To make manual level adjustments faster and easier, there is a light ring around the control knobs to indicate the audio levels. Thanks to the headphone amplifier designed for this sound card, high-impedance headphones sound clearer and louder than before. There is also now a separate volume control for headphones and speakers.

Setting up the device is easy, just connect to your computer and launch the Focusrite Easy Start tool, which will guide you through the installation and advise you on how to use the device.

Scarlett comes with Pro Tools Artist and Ableton Live Lite recording software, which you can choose from. Once you've familiarized yourself with these, you can use the extensive Hitmaker Expansion software bundle, which includes a wide range of studio tools from the biggest manufacturers in the industry.
