The transmitter's microphone is omnidirectional, meaning you can record background sounds or conversations between several people, such as an interview. It can be attached directly to the performers with either a clip or a magnet. The transmitter can be connected to Osmo Action 4 and Pocket 3 cameras or to a smartphone via Bluetooth. When connecting to a phone via Bluetooth, noise cancellation and internal recording are not used.

A new noise reduction feature reduces unwanted background noise and noise from your audio. The wide dynamic range of 32-bit recording provides even better sound quality, and audio levels can be adjusted afterwards without affecting sound quality, even if they are initially too quiet or loud.
