The BlackRapid Sport X camera strap is a quick-to-use and ergonomically designed “over-the-shoulder” camera strap for those who want comfort even during longer shooting sessions. The package includes an underarm strap, which keeps it more securely in place and prevents the camera strap from twisting, even when the camera is moved a lot.

The camera is attached to the strap's steel mounting screw via its tripod thread (or the tripod thread of the lens collar), allowing the camera to hang freely on the right hip and be quickly within reach. The weight of the camera is distributed evenly between the opposite shoulder and hip, so there is no strain on the back.

The updated X version emphasizes comfort and offers additional padding for long shooting sessions, making the strap comfortable to wear even for longer periods of time.
