Additional lights are useful accessories for many photographers. They help to produce details in low light, emphasize a desired point in a portrait, or help create something unique with the color change enabled by the light.

Elinchrom is a long-time name in the photography flash market, but with the LED100C, they are jumping into the continuous light category. Continuous light is usually associated with videographers and filmmakers, but with the rise of social media, photographers are also moving to a more hybrid workflow. Elinchrom’s first LED light offers flexibility and portability for both still photography and small-scale video shoots.

Externally, the LED100 looks like Elinchrom's new flash units (ONE, THREE, FIVE) and is therefore a suitable extension of the equipment. The LED light is also able to communicate with Elinchrom flashes via the Elinchrom app, which makes it easier than ever to integrate flashes and continuous light into your workflow. The LED 100 C is also compatible with Elinchrom's wide range of light modifiers, so shaping and diffusing continuous light is as easy as with traditional flashes.

The Elinchrom LED100C is an RGBWW light, meaning the color temperature and color of the light can be adjusted over a wide range, giving you many additional lighting options, whether it's small adjustments to the tone or more creative color effects.

The color rendering index (CRI), which describes the quality of light, is high at 95+. This means realistic and beautifully reproduced colors and skin tones.

The LED 100C differs from the Nanlite Forza 60C, for example, in that the Elinchrome has a built-in battery. Since you don't need to use external batteries, the device is compact and convenient to use even during filming on location.

Elinka's LED100C light has pre-programmed effects that simulate, for example, lightning, the flickering light of a TV, a slightly broken lamp, etc.
