Zoom F8n Pro Field Recorder

New in the F8n Pro model is larger memory, Dual-AD converters and 32-bit recording, which makes the sound even clearer and brighter.

The Zoom F8n Pro is a multi-track recorder and mixer with 8 channels and 10 tracks. All 8 microphone inputs are Neutrik XLR/TRS Combo connectors, so you can connect a microphone with a TRS connector directly to the recorder without adapters or extra cables. The F8n also supports Zoom microphone modules.

The recorder has two SDHC/SDXC memory card slots, both of which support up to 1TB cards. You can also record audio to both the memory card and your computer at the same time, so you can easily back up your recordings without any extra work.

For VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) use, you can record both surround sound and, for example, a button microphone or boom at the same time. With the free and easy-to-use Zoom Ambisonic Player, you can extract and edit the audio for 360 use.

Because each channel's levels can be adjusted independently, either manually or automatically using Zoom AutoMix software, you can ensure clear, distinct audio from the channels you need it from. Accurate timestamps make it easy to synchronize audio and video in post-production.

The recorder is easy to use with a 2.4" LCD screen, which you can set to work in either color or black and white. The illuminated play/pause and record buttons are helpful when working in the dark. All control buttons are conveniently located on one side, making it easy to adjust settings even when the recorder is in a narrow space, such as in a bag or on a shelf.
