The Smallrig 4608 V-mount battery is, as its name suggests, mini in size but very powerful. According to the manufacturer, the battery is about 30% smaller than similar batteries of the same capacity. The SE version of Smallrig's V-lock battery has been updated with an OLED display, USB-C PD and USB-QC ports, and better charging power.

Smallrig VB99 Pro supports bidirectional USB-C PD charging, meaning the battery can be charged via USB-C and this can provide additional power to, for example, cameras and laptops.

In addition to USB ports, the battery has traditional D-Tap and USB Type A ports. The charge status can be seen on the convenient OLED display.
