The fourth version of the street photography classic. Large 25.7 megapixel sensor, image stabilization and incredibly small - pocket-sized! HDF version with diffusion filter.

In this Ricoh GR IV HDF version, the ND filter has been replaced with a diffusion filter. So, at the push of a button, you get a slightly poetic feel and a suitable softness in your images, which is most visible in highlights, i.e. it works like the very popular normal black mist filters!
The Ricoh GR series of cameras has been a staple in street photography for years. It's a compact camera that fits in your pocket, very small in size, but inside the camera is an APS-C sized image sensor found in most DSLR cameras.
At first glance, this looks very similar to its predecessor, but the new GR IV has been designed to be smaller and thinner. Thanks to a slimmer body and a thumb rest shaped to fit better in the hand, shooting feels even more comfortable.
The Ricoh GR IV is a photographer's tool, the controls are very good for its size. There are adjustment rings on the front and back. All buttons are located on the right side, so you can control the camera with one hand, using just your thumb.
The new 25.7-megapixel sensor, combined with the GR Engine 7 processor, delivers improved image quality and better low-light performance. The new processor and lighter lens design mean faster and more accurate autofocus. Ricoh describes the new phase-detection autofocus as significantly faster, more accurate and better in low light.
The image stabilization has been upgraded from 3-axis to a new 5-axis image stabilization with a power of six stops. The GR IV's ISO range is now a whopping 100-204800. The camera's startup time is now just 0.6s and operations such as changing shooting mode, closing the lens and turning off the camera are faster.
DNG Raw images can be processed directly in the camera and exported as JPEG versions. The GR III's twelve effect modes now include a new Cinema Mode, which emulates the feel of old film films. Each mode now allows you to adjust the image's saturation, contrast, hue and grain. The size and strength of these features can be adjusted separately.
If you have to leave your photoshoot suddenly and forget your memory card at home, don't panic, the camera has 53GB of built-in memory and the battery can be charged directly with a USB-C cable, for example via a power bank. Transferring images and remotely controlling the camera is very convenient with the GR World app via Bluetooth or Wifi on a smartphone.
