HDF version of the popular Ricoh GRIII camera. The camera has a built-in HDF or Highlight Diffusion Filter, which, like the Pro Mist filter, softens highlights to a dreamy effect. The contrast is evened out and the highlights are softened, giving the image a cinematic feel. Especially when shooting against backlight, you get the soft feel of a vintage lens, but while maintaining an undistorted image and some of the sharpness.

At its best, the Ricoh GR3 is just 28mm wide-angle, the redesigned lens is clearly better in terms of drawing.
