Compared to the Manfrotto 055 series, the 190 series tripods are slightly lighter and have a slightly lower load capacity.

Feet

The Manfrotto 190 XPro MT190XPRO3 tripod's legs consist of three parts and two sturdy lever locks, which Manfrotto calls Quick Power Lock. The locking levers are a nice, generous size, so they are easy to grip even with gloves on.

The legs fold into four different angles (25°, 46°, 66°, 88°), which allows the tripod to be used even on the most uneven terrain. The tripod angle lock is a spring-loaded slide lock on the side of the leg, which is pulled down to unlock and allow the leg angle to be adjusted. Thanks to the folding mechanism, the legs fold perfectly around the head and quick-release plate, allowing the tripod to fold into a relatively small transport space (59cm).

Two of the three legs of the stand have a foam/rubber coating, which makes the stand comfortable to handle in low temperatures.

Center pipe

The center tube is about 30cm long and its locking mechanism is a large wing nut on the center bridge.

Like the Mandrotto Pro camera tripods, this one features a Manfrotto 90-degree transverse center tube, which is great for straight-down photography. When the tube is rotated transversely and the leg angle is adjusted to its maximum, the lowest working height is about 8 centimeters. This is excellent for macro photography or other close-up photography.

Easy Link accessory connection

The Manfrotto 190 XPro tripod has an accessory connection with a 3/8-inch thread, which Manfrotto calls Easy Link. With the help of an accessory arm (e.g. Manfrotto 244 Micro or Manfrotto 234 Flex Arm) that can be purchased separately, you can connect an LED light or a shooting monitor, etc. to the tripod.

No ball head included

This product does not come with a ball head. However, you can attach any camera head to the tripod, be it a ball head, a cine head, or even a video head on a flat surface. The camera head attaches to the tripod with a standard 3/8-inch thread.
