An updated version of the popular Godox V1 handheld flash. The Pro version brings the option of an external power supply, a physical button for switching between Manual and TTL modes, an SU-1 fill flash. The flash also has better cooling, and the ability to charge the battery directly via the USB-C connector.
The flash is available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, OM System/Olympus/Panasonic compatibility.
The Godox V1Pro flash head is round as usual, so it produces soft and even light. It also has a magnetic mount for light modifiers.
Features:
The V1 Pro is powered by a powerful, removable battery that allows for up to 480 full-power flashes. The battery is the same as the previous V1, so you can use the V1 battery in the V1Pro and vice versa. The biggest change in the new VB30 battery is the ability to charge the battery directly via the USB-C port without a separate battery charger.
Thanks to improved thermal management, the V1 Pro allows for up to 100 full-power flashes before the flash requires a cooling break. A fast 1.5-second recharge time helps keep up with fast-paced situations.
The V1Pro comes with a Godox SU-1 flash unit that can be attached to the front of the V1 Pro flash. When the SU-1 is on, it acts as an additional light source, which can be useful for portraits, for example.
For really fast shooting, the V1 Pro flash has HSS mode, which allows the flash to be synchronized up to 1/8000 second. For additional control over the use of light, the V1 flash can be synchronized with both the front and rear shutters.
The flash head can be rotated 330 degrees and tilted between -7 and 120 degrees.
The V1 Pro supports slave mode, but also has a built-in 2.4GHz receiver that is compatible with Godox X transmitters. If necessary, the V1 can also function as a master, whose settings can be repeated with other flashes.
