The latest version of the DP600III flash. In this V version, the modeling light has been changed to LED, which consumes less power and does not produce waste heat.
Godox's DPIII series includes the widest range of different power lights (400Ws, 600Ws, 800Ws and 1000Ws) when compared to other Godox series. Compared to the SKII series, this one is sturdier and more durable. The flash body is made of aluminum, including the tripod mount, which is usually made of plastic. The DPIII's power adjustment goes up to 1/64 while in the SKII it is 1/16.
Godox DP600III -V has a power of 600Ws. The flash power is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/64 and there are 61 steps in the adjustment range. In addition, there is a LED 30W modeling light on the head, the power of which can also be adjusted.
The mains-powered Godox DP600 III-V is a manual flash unit, so there is no TTL. One of the advantages of not having a battery is that you don't have to worry about the battery power during shooting. Mains-powered lights are suitable for fixed installations in the studio, but are also suitable for live shooting if necessary.
The head has a built-in 2.4G radio receiver, which allows for remote flash control and the use of Godox battery devices in the same flash set. This means you can combine the DPIII series with, for example, the battery-powered Godox AD series, or the mains-powered QTII, QSII and SKII for the same shoot.
The DPIII supports Godox X1T, X2T and XPro 2.4Ghz triggers. In addition, the flash's USB port also allows the use of older triggers.
In addition to the wireless trigger that can be purchased separately, the settings of the DP600III studio flash can be adjusted from the rear panel of the flash and are clearly displayed on the easy-to-read LCD screen.
The device has a Bowens mount, meaning a wide range of light modifiers are available for the flash.
