Top speed 140km/h. Acceleration 0-100km/h in a couple of seconds. Put on your glasses and go!
DJI has always been the most popular choice for drones. This DJI FPV is the manufacturer's first first-person-view device, meaning it's also a device focused on fun and excitement. However, it comes with DJI's great technology, so you can experience the charm of flight but with obstacle detection and assistive features!
The drone and other accessories, as well as the FPV Goggles, are included. All accessories are pre-paired and adjusted, so you can fly immediately after charging and activating the device.
DJI FPV is heavier and contains much more electronics than so-called real racing drones, the control logic is also different, so anyone who has flown DJI equipment before will feel at home.
There is obstacle detection forward and downward, gyroscope, GPS, just like in the Mavic and AIR series. DJI FPV combines the charm of speed with safe flying in appropriate proportions. A big part of using a racing drone is tuning and repairing, which thanks to smart automation does not have to be done with DJI FPV, so this is a great choice for a hobby drone if you don't have time for building.
The DJI Mavic 2 Pro is better in terms of image quality than this one, thanks to its 3-axis gimbal stabilizer and larger camera. But with this FPV you can do all kinds of camera rides much easier and the basic Mavic feels like an airship in comparison, i.e. clumsy and slow.
DJI FPV records videos in 4K quality, includes powerful electronic stabilization, and can also record slow-motion videos in FullHD quality (frame rates up to 240FPS at this resolution).
DJI FPV includes three different flight modes to choose from depending on your skills and situation:
N Mode: For new drivers, simpler steering and obstacle detection on. Maximum speed 50km/h
S Mode: Same streamlined controls but 91km/h maximum speed and obstacle detection off (i.e. can fly in tighter spaces).
M Mode: Acro mode, i.e. for experienced pilots, no restrictions on movements or speed. Note. if you are not familiar with FPV flying, it is definitely worth starting with other flight modes. PS. Spare parts are also available for this copter!
DJI has a great flight simulator called DJI Virtual Flight App that you can use to get a feel for flying and spend some time getting familiar with DJI FPV.
This device is not a toy!
Please note the new EU Drone Regulation that came into effect at the turn of the year. Read more here!
