The Deity Theos DBTX is an advanced, fully digital wireless bodypack transmitter designed for demanding filmmakers, videographers and sound recordists. Unlike traditional and often congested 2.4 GHz devices, the DBTX utilizes the wideband digital UHF spectrum (550-960 MHz). This ensures exceptionally reliable, interference-free and long range even in challenging urban environments or large events with a large number of wireless devices.

Double protection for your voice: The DBTX is more than just a transmitter. It has a built-in voice recorder that records audio directly to a MicroSD card. Even if the wireless connection is momentarily lost due to long distance or obstacles, your voice is always safe on its own memory card.

• Interference-free digital UHF connection: Operates over a wide and secure frequency range outside the congested Wi-Fi band.
• Built-in backup storage: Saves WAV files directly to a MicroSD card (supports up to 128GB).
• Automatic Distortion Protection: The transmitter's internal recording utilizes 32-bit Float technology, which prevents audio distortion during editing, even if the subject suddenly screams.

Smart globetrotter and remote control

One of the most unique features of the DBTX transmitter is its global compatibility. You can travel around the world with the same transmitter, as the device can switch between UHF frequency bands based on your smartphone’s GPS location to comply with local laws and regulations. The transmitter can be fully controlled remotely via the convenient Sidus Audio app, allowing you to change settings (such as RF transmit power or recording) without touching the device attached to the performer’s clothing during filming.

The device features a bright and clear full-color LCD display that lets you see audio levels, battery life, and frequency information at a glance. The detachable SMA antenna connector allows for easy antenna swapping or fine-tuning as needed.

Excellent battery life and lockable connection

The Deity Theos DBTX is designed for long days of shooting. It runs on two standard AA batteries or rechargeable batteries, with high-quality lithium batteries providing up to 14 hours of continuous use. It can also be powered externally via its USB-C port.

The transmitter features a standard, locking 3.5mm TRS microphone jack, making it compatible with the Deity W.Lav series and most other professional lavalier and headband microphones. The jack supports both microphone and line-level signals.
