Aputure Light Dome II Softbox (Bowens)

The Light Dome II is a deep tulip-shaped softbox with a hexadecagonal structure, consisting of 16 rods (twice as many as an octabox). This structure makes the softbox almost circular. The shape creates a circular reflection (catch light) in the subject's eyes and provides a smoother transition between light and shadow.

The approximately 60cm deep parabolic softbox features a more precise light direction, rather than 180 degrees like a normal softbox, so the light does not escape to the sides.

The two included diffuser cloths (1.5 stop and 2.5 stop) and the 40° grip net make it easy to limit the light and adjust the softness of the light.
