The H6 is a six-track audio recorder with a replaceable microphone module that features two microphones in an XY stereo configuration. The recorder accepts Zoom microphone modules, so you can connect a shotgun mic, for example, directly to it. The 1/4' thread allows you to attach the microphone to a tripod, for example.

The recorder has four XLR-Combo connectors with phantom power, so you can also connect multiple external microphones or, for example, an instrument to the recorder.

The recorder allows six-track recording either at once or as an overlay recording, making it easy to layer audio tracks directly on the recorder. This is convenient, for example, when recording songs or when you want to use audio recorded in a different situation as the background for dialogue. It is also possible to send two audio channels to computers or smart devices via the USB port.

For storage, the H6 uses a microSD memory card with a maximum capacity of 1TB, and transferring files to a computer is easy using a USB cable.
