The Zoom F6 is a compact multi-track recorder and mixer with 6 channels and 14 tracks. Six of the connections are XLR and a 3.5mm jack, allowing you to connect a DSLR camera to the F6 recorder, allowing it to act as a mixer during filming. The 3.5mm headphone jack allows for real-time audio monitoring.

The recorder has an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot that supports up to 512Gb cards. The recorder can also be used as a sound card directly on a computer.

For VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) use, you can record both surround sound and, for example, a button microphone or boom at the same time. With the free and easy-to-use Zoom Ambisonic Player, you can extract and edit the audio for 360 use.

Because each channel's levels can be adjusted independently, either manually or automatically using Zoom AutoMix software, you can ensure clear, distinct audio from the channels you need it from. Accurate timestamps make it easy to synchronize audio and video in post-production.

The recorder is easy to use with a 1.54' LCD screen, which you can set to work in either color or black and white. All control buttons are conveniently located on one side, making it easy to adjust settings even when the recorder is in a narrow space, such as in a bag or on a shelf.
