The Skadi Zipper Mitt collection is designed for cold shooting situations , for example for stargazing and northern lights photographers. Or when the intention is to hike through snowy landscapes towards shooting locations. The manufacturer does not directly state the frost limits for the gloves, but based on user experiences online, the gloves can handle temperatures as low as -23 degrees .

Skadi Zipper Mitt is a so-called 2-in-1 garment that combines the best features of mittens and gloves. The mittens keep your fingers warm, and the glove part, which is revealed by unzipping, allows for more precise camera handling. The long zipper of the mitten can be opened so that you can expose either one or all four fingers.
