The Urth Stellar Filter Kit includes three Star Filters that add a new glow to your images - as the name suggests, they add star-like effects to bright light sources in the image.

Using a filter does not affect the exposure and they create a nice effect. The shape of the starbursts depends on the shape of the camera aperture. The effect is stronger when the camera aperture is polygonal and weaker when it is round.

For best results, use a strong, nearby, and partially obscured light source, such as the sun filtering through tree branches or a bright, pinpoint LED. The intermediate source can also be a street light, car headlights, sunlight reflecting off the surface of water, etc.
