Bright light and stylish image quality! The Thypoch 28mm F1.4 is a bright wide-angle for Leica M mount. Newer II version. Color black.

The Thypoch Simera-C is a lens optimized for video shooting. These lenses are based on the Thypoch Simera Leica M lenses but include film-oriented features such as a standardized size (excluding 21mm and 75mm), serrations in the aperture and focus ring, and no fewer than 16 diaphragm blades.
And speaking of size, these are very compact and lightweight for cinema lenses, making them a great companion for new cinema cameras like the Canon C50 and Nikon ZR.
Note: The Leica M bayonet has been chosen because it is very universal, meaning that these can be attached to any cinema camera with an adapter. But these lenses are not worth buying for Leica cameras, because the rangefinder does not engage for focusing!
Thypochin is owned by DZO, which manufactures cinema lenses, and this foundation is reflected in Thypochin's products, meaning that in addition to the raw resolution, the images taken with the lens have a certain sound and their own way of drawing. On the other hand, they use modern structures and coatings, so it's a pretty good combination of these two different worlds.
Compared to DZO's actual cinema lenses, there is slightly more color difference between these lenses and focus breathing is visible when focusing, meaning the focal length of the image changes slightly.
The lens has no fewer than 16 rounded diaphragm plates, so the background remains nice even at different apertures, and it has better weather protection than the still versions.
