The Sony SL-M Tough hard drives are waterproof (up to 1m depth for up to 30 minutes) and dustproof. Their USB connection is watertight even without a cover. In addition, the hard drive can withstand a drop from a height of 3m .

In extreme conditions, the hard drive can withstand storage between -20 and +60 degrees Celsius and can be used in temperatures between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius. SL-M hard drives are therefore also well suited to extreme conditions. The bending and compression resistance are also top-notch (compression: 60,000N / bending: 20,000N).

The seamless aluminum shell has a wavy surface, which gives you a firm grip and makes it possible to find the hard drive at the bottom of the bag by feel. The included sticker sheet makes it easy to label what the hard drive contains.
