The Sony HVL-F46RM is a handy handheld flash for Sony SLR cameras. It can be triggered using either a radio transmitter or traditional optical control.

The Sony HVL-F46RM improves on the previous model, with a more efficient guide number. The charge time is up to 2 seconds. Full bounce capabilities are available, as well as tilt from -8 to 150° and full 360° rotation. The flash can be zoomed from 24-105mm, which can be extended by 15mm by pulling out the diffusion panel.

The flash also has a handy LED light for video. The buttons can be programmed to your liking and you can save different flash settings in memory. In addition, the flash is dust and weatherproof.
