The Tascam CA-XLR2d microphone adapter, which came as a replacement device, is a two-channel microphone adapter and preamplifier that can be used to record high-quality audio with, for example, a DSLR or other camera. The Tascam CA-XLR2d is compatible with Canon's multifunction shoe. This allows audio data to be transferred to the camera via the shoe. The adapter is powered directly from the camera, so a separate power supply is not required.

Compatibility: Compatible with Canon Multi-Function Shoe. Compatible Canon cameras: Canon EOS R3, Canon EOS R5 C, Canon EOS R6 Mark II, Canon EOS R7, Canon EOS R10, Canon XF605
