The Smallrig 4292 V-mount battery is, as its name suggests, a mini-sized but very powerful battery. According to the manufacturer, the battery is about 30% smaller than similar batteries of the same capacity. Smallrig's V-lock battery has been updated with a TFT color display, USB-C PD and USB-QC ports, and better charging power. This more robust 212W version is protected from drops and heat.

Smallrig VB212 supports bidirectional USB-C PD charging, meaning the battery can be charged via USB-C and this can provide additional power to, for example, cameras and laptops.

In addition to USB ports, the battery has traditional D-Tap and USB Type A ports. The charge status can be seen on the convenient OLED display.
