The used Sigma APO EX series teleconverter doubles the focal length of telephoto and telezoom lenses. For example, 70-200mm F2.8 becomes 140-440mm and the aperture changes to F5.6. The teleconverter is recommended to be used only with high-quality lenses with an aperture of F2.8 or F4. If the aperture value exceeds F6.3 with the teleconverter (with the exception of a few bodies), autofocus will no longer work.
