With this Samyang 14 mm and AF 50mm lenses, Samyang has moved into the production of autofocus lenses. The dust and moisture resistant lens is designed specifically for Canon full-frame bodies, but is still compatible with APS-C sensors. The wide-angle, bright and weather-protected lens is very suitable for both landscape and sports photographers. The lightweight and compact lens is easy to carry in a camera bag. The lens's closest focusing distance is only 20cm.

The Samyang focus motor is fast, quiet and precise. When you want to adjust the focus manually, simply move the switch on the lens body to manual mode. The lens also has an electronically controlled diaphragm.

The lens consists of 15 elements in 10 groups. 2 of the elements are aspherical, which correct distortions, 4 are HR (High Refractive) and 1 ED (Extra Low Dispersion) elements, which reduce chromatic aberrations. The glass elements are UMC (Ultra Multilayer Coating) multi-layer coated, to improve light transmission and contrast, and reduce ghosting. A 7-blade diaphragm produces star-like Bokeh. The Samyang AF 14mm lens is weather-sealed with multiple sealing rings, which prevent dust and moisture from entering the lens.
