The Portkeys LEYE III is an indispensable tool for videographers who want full control over exposure and focus regardless of ambient lighting. This electronic viewfinder (EVF) offers a sharp and bright Full HD panel that is shielded from external light. It is specifically designed for cameras that lack a viewfinder or for situations where the camera's rear screen is impossible to see due to reflections.

Stability and visibility in one package: LEYE III not only eliminates glare problems, but also provides a third point of contact for the photographer (eye on the viewfinder), which significantly stabilizes handheld photography. The diopter adjustment ensures perfect accuracy even for those who wear glasses.

Accurate monitoring in all conditions

LEYE III is equipped with Portkeys' renowned monitoring tools. You can load your own 3D LUT color profiles via USB, allowing you to see the final color specification right on the spot. A wide range of shooting aids are available, such as Waveform, Histogram, False Color and Focus Peaking. These tools help you ensure that exposure and focus are correct even before post-processing.

The viewfinder optics are of high quality, and the soft eyecup effectively prevents light leakage. The device has an integrated Canon LP-E6 battery plate on the back, but it can also be powered by external power via a 4-pin DC connector (7V-24V), making it a flexible part of even larger camera rigs.

Durable and lightweight design

The LEYE III’s body is made of durable aluminum, which protects the device from impacts and helps dissipate heat. Since it has no fan, it is completely silent – ??a critical feature in sound-sensitive productions. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller mirrorless cameras, but is also at home with larger cinema cameras.
