The Portkeys BM7 II DS is a true professional workhorse, designed to withstand the rigors of demanding production environments. Its full metal chassis protects a 7-inch, ultra-bright 2200 nit panel that ensures perfect visibility even in the brightest sunlight. The DS (Dual Screen) model allows for simultaneous monitoring of two different video signals, making it an excellent tool for multi-camera productions.

Professional connectivity: The BM7 II DS offers full support for SDI and HDMI cross-conversion. You can input an HDMI signal and output it via an SDI connection (or vice versa), allowing the monitor to be seamlessly integrated into larger video networks and wireless transmitters.

Camera control and advanced monitoring

The monitor allows you to control a wide range of professional cameras either wirelessly (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) or wired. The software is loaded with analysis tools: you have access to accurate Waveform, Vectorscope, Histogram and the professional-respected False Color (including ARRI mode). With 3D LUT support, you can preview the final color definition in real time, and you can even send the LUT-processed signal to other displays.

The monitor's versatility is highlighted by its ability to handle aspect ratios. It supports de-squeeze for anamorphic lenses and offers extensive compositional aids (Grids, Guides). The new CINENORM OS makes switching between tools fast, which is critical for fast-paced shooting.

Designed to be durable and flexible

The BM7 II DS is equipped with two Sony NP-F battery slots, allowing for long continuous use. In addition, the device has a professional 4-pin DC connector for external power (7V-24V). The metal frame of the monitor acts as an effective heat sink, and there are multiple 1/4"-20 mounting points on the sides for monitor arms or accessories.
