NiSi is known for its high-quality filters for demanding landscape photographers. NiSi has previously released a series of lenses for professional cinema use, but this is the manufacturer's first lens intended for photography.
The NiSi 15mm f/4 is an interesting novelty, the lens has 10 straight diaphragm blades and the Sunstar pattern that many landscape photographers strive for can be captured even at full aperture! Usually, this star pattern of bright light sources is only visible at larger aperture values. Due to the optical structure, there are no reflections in the star patterns.
Thanks to the moderate F4 aperture, the size is compact, the weight is 470g and you can also use 72mm standard filters with the lens.
For shooting the Northern Lights or when you want to minimize exposure time when shooting the starry sky, for example, a faster lens may be better. If you are also shooting landscapes in bright light, ideally directly against backlight when the light is at its most beautiful, this NiSi Sunstar is a good choice.

Thanks to the special lenses (1 double-sided aspherical and 2 low dispersion lenses), the image is distortion-free and sharp right to the edges. The Nisi 15mm F4 is also suitable for capturing architecture and urban environments.
The lens body is made of metal. The inside of the body is matte-finished to reduce reflections. The focus ring has a high-quality feel and is suitable for precise work.
