The Kenko PL Fader is a high-quality, multi-coated adjustable ND filter. Excellent for both still and video photography.

The adjustable gray filter consists of two overlapping polarizing glasses, which can be rotated to adjust the amount of darkening. The Kenko PL Fader filter has a power of ND3 - ND400, meaning that the filter can reduce light steplessly by 1.5 - 9 stops. This gives greater freedom of choice in choosing the aperture and shutter speed, without having to use the smallest apertures of the lens.

Due to its design, the filter may vignette when using lenses wider than 28 mm (cinema equivalent).
