The Godox SKII series is Godox's most affordable studio flash series. Due to its budget-friendly nature, the series is an excellent option for a first studio flash, or when you don't want to invest a large sum in flash lights. The price of the SKII series flashes has been kept lower thanks to the construction, which is mainly made of plastic, and by omitting the finer details. The SK-II series is available in 200Ws, 300Ws and 400Ws.
Godox SK200II has a power of 200Ws. The flash power is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/16 and there are 40 steps in the adjustment range. In addition, the flash has a 150W modeling light, the power of which can also be adjusted.
The mains-powered Godox SK200II is a manual flash unit, so there is no TTL. One of the advantages of not having a battery is that you don't have to worry about whether the battery is charged while shooting. Mains-powered lights are suitable for fixed installations in the studio, but are also suitable for live shooting if necessary.
The SK200II has a built-in 2.4G radio that allows for remote flash control and the use of Godox battery devices in the same flash set. This means you can combine the QTII series with, for example, the battery-powered Godox AD series, or the mains-powered QSII, DPII and SKII for the same shoot.
The SKII supports Godox X1T, X2T and XPro 2.4Ghz triggers. In addition, the flash's USB port also allows the use of older triggers.
In addition to the separately purchased trigger, the SK400II studio flash settings can be adjusted from the rear panel of the flash and are displayed on the easy-to-read LCD screen.
The device has a Bowens mount, meaning a wide range of light modifiers are available for the flash.
Note! The SK200II does not come with a reflector hood. You can buy one here!
