Gen 4, the latest 4th version!
Goal Zero Sherpa 100PD Power Bank - a long name for a small, powerful power bank. The Sherpa 100PD is smaller and lighter than the Sherpa's more-portable big brother, the Sherpa 100AC.
The appearance of the metal-cased and very sturdy power bank is simple, as the device only has a power button, a small display that shows the battery charge, USB ports, and a wireless charging switch.
The backup power source is ideal for mobile workers, but also for hiking, photography or even taking it on a trip. The power bank is therefore suitable for many situations and purposes. Use the power bank to charge your laptop or charge camera batteries on the go. Charge your phone overnight on a hike, or use the power bank as additional power for stargazing or time-lapse photography.
Key features
The Goal Zero Sherpa 100PD can charge four devices simultaneously - 2 devices via the USB-A port, 1 device via the USB-C port, and one wirelessly via a Qi charging pad. It is possible to charge the devices at the same time as the Sherpa itself.
The regular-sized USB (Type-A) 2.4A ports are great for slow charging when the device you're charging doesn't support any type of fast charging.
The USB-C port on the side of the Sherpa is a 60W Power Delivery (PD) port, which means that you can charge compatible devices much faster through the port. For example, you can charge MacBooks with a USB-C port that consumes a lot of power.
The Qi Wireless Charging Pad is a charging stand on top of the Sherpa that allows wireless charging with devices that support this (such as smartphones, smartwatches, headphones, etc.). Wireless charging pushes out 5W, so this is not for fast charging. The iPhone 12 battery charges from empty to about 20 percent in an hour.
The USB-C connection also serves as the charging port for the Sherpa 100PD.
The number of times you can charge your phone is always affected by factors such as the phone model, battery, and temperature.
The manufacturer states in its information that the Sherpa with a battery capacity of 94.72 watt-hours charges
